God’s Greyts Greyhound Group, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit, family-friendly adoption group dedicated to the placement of retired racing greyhounds. Their mission is to place these retired greyhounds into loving, qualified, and caring homes. Since forming in 2007, they have taken in more than 1,600 greyhounds from Sanford Orlando Kennel Club, other dog tracks, shelters, and individuals who could no longer care for their dogs. Their group is neither pro, anti, or racing neutral. They choose instead to put their focus on working hard to find caring homes for all the greyhounds.

Patty’s Parrot Palace is a licensed, nonprofit organization with a sanctuary in DeLand, Florida, supported by corporate sponsors, “parronts,” volunteers, donors, and bird owners who let their pets stay at the Palace while they are away. The Palace provides temporary boarding, bird rescues, rehabilitation, and more. Owner Trish Koile also hosts classes for bird training and offers one-on-one behavioral counseling for birds with bad habits or unruly personalities.

Seminole County Animal Services is a division of the Seminole County government. They are open Monday-Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and have extended hours on Wednesday until 7:00pm. You can adopt a pet Monday-Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Wednesday until 6:30pm.They hold events throughout the year and offer $10 rabies vaccine and microchipping. They also have educational programs like the animal bite prevention program, rabies prevention program, shelter awareness program, pet care, spay and neuter program, and hurricane preparedness.

Their purpose is to rescue pitbulls while educating the public on animal overpopulation.
